Emergency Response and Rescue

Our team are experienced and highly trained emergency response professionals, providing peace of mind with rapid response and management to site-based emergencies or incidents.

Our team of Medical Emergency Services Officers (MESOs) are trained in the Certificate III Mine Rescue and Emergency Response and Certificate IV Healthcare. They are experienced and professionally trained, providing an immediate response to a site emergency or incident. This includes managing injured personnel, controlling an incident area and undertaking rescue operations in testing circumstances.

Our MESO team maintain a state of operational readiness and provide vital medical support to our clients through:

• Operating and managing onsite medical centres
• Providing primary healthcare and first aid to site personnel
• Stabilising and transporting patients requiring hospital care
• Liaising with tertiary medical facilities, RFDS, Police and Fire and Emergency Services
• Medical Centre and ambulance stock control and consumables ordering
• Drug and alcohol & hydration testing
• Developing a site-based Emergency Response Team
• Identify high risk project areas and developing pre-incident rescue plans

Baseline Onsite also offers clients access to a range of emergency response vehicles including fully equipped 4 x 4 mine specification ambulances and light tanker fire appliances.
