Baseline Onsite was proud to support the 2022 CMEWA Underground Mine Emergency Response Competition held in Kalgoorlie 19-20 November 2022. Baseline sponsored and managed the challenging Search and Rescue event.
Baseline’s Trainer Ben Ingham and Mike Bowron, General Manager of Training, led the Baseline event team in a gruelling yet highly rewarding scenario. Our Acting Operations Manager Hayley Wombwell volunteered her time as a casualty, with our Key Client Manager, Matt Chadwick adjudicating the First Aid treatment provided by the teams. Baseline’s Training Manager Jodie Mellows supported the team and the event across the two days.
Baseline Onsite trained five of the eight competing teams who all deserve to be congratulated for their commitment to driving improvements in mine safety. Congratulations to 1st place overall winning team, Norton Goldfields Paddington.
